The Rising Fall
The Rising Fall is a Chicago-based rock band blending the influence of classic heavyweights like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath with the darker, more modern sounds of bands like Deftones, Evanescence, and Nine Inch Nails.
Formed in late 2022, the band came together at a time when each member was ready for a new creative chapter. That sense of timing eventually inspired the title of their debut EP, Cycles, released in May 2025. Their music is built collaboratively, with riffs, vocals, drums, and new ideas constantly bouncing between members until each song finds its shape. The result is a sound rooted in old-school rock while still feeling distinctly current.
Since forming, The Rising Fall has performed throughout Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Iowa, including a memorable appearance at Punk in the Corn Music Festival, where they heard an audience sing their lyrics back to them for the first time. They have also brought their music to WGN Morning News, taking their live energy into a completely different setting.
The band is still discovering exactly what The Rising Fall can become, and that is part of what makes their music exciting. With another EP in the works and plans to eventually bring both projects together on a full-length CD and vinyl release, they are continuing to build on the strong riffs, soaring vocal melodies, and dynamics that have become central to their sound.

Luka Lohr
Luka Lohr is an independent artist based in East Lansing, Michigan, creating music for the people who replay conversations in their heads, talk to themselves in the mirror, and wonder about what they could have done differently.
Writing and creating every part of her music herself, Luka uses that creative freedom to turn complicated emotions into songs that feel personal, reflective, and honest. Her music often explores identity, relationships, anger, uncertainty, and the disconnect between who we are and who other people believe us to be.
Her single “AM I” captures that feeling especially closely, exploring what it means to realize that someone’s perception of you doesn’t necessarily match who you really are. With a two-part structure and a deeply personal approach to songwriting, Luka continues to create music that gives listeners space to recognize pieces of their own inner worlds in hers.

Drifters Grove
Drifters Grove is a Fort Wayne, Indiana-based four-piece blending shoegaze, dream-pop, indie rock, and heavier influences into music that feels atmospheric without being tied to one specific sound.
The project began as a personal creative outlet for Hunter Carter, who started writing and releasing music on his own before gradually bringing other members into the fold. As the lineup grew, so did the sound, with each member adding new ideas and influences that helped turn Drifters Grove into the collaborative project it is today.
Now, the band is stepping into a new chapter with new music, an upcoming EP, and plans to bring their songs to the stage throughout Indiana and the surrounding Midwest. Whether they’re leaning into dreamy textures, noisier moments, or something more polished and melodic, Drifters Grove continues to build a sound that keeps you immersed all the way through.
